Marshall Atkinson
Partner
Mesa, AZ-based Marshall Atkinson is one of the leading production and efficiency experts for the decorated apparel industry. He is the owner of Atkinson Consulting, LLC.
As a coach, Atkinson focuses on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, workflow strategy, business planning, marketing, employee motivation, management, and sustainability.
He is a frequent trade show speaker, article & blog author, and is the host for the YouTube show for Jerzees “Adventures in Apparel Decorating,” and is the co-host of the Stahls’ series “Heat Press Transformation.”
His podcast, “Success Stories with Marshall Atkinson” is the leading audio podcast for the decorated apparel industry, and sponsored by S&S Activewear.
In 2024, Atkinson will release “INKclusivity: Company Benefits of Disability Inclusion & How-to Implementation Guide for the Print Industry” written with Jed Seifert, Vince Bartozzi, Patrick Bardsley, and Tim Howe.
Marshall also co-founded a decorated apparel industry sales and marketing education company called Shirt Lab, with industry entrepreneur Tom Rauen.
Marshall lives and works in Mesa, Arizona with his wife, Jody.
He was recognized for contributing to industry education and was elected to the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies in 2020.
Ali Banholzer
Co-Founder
Ali is the surviving spouse of Colonel David Banholzer (USAF). Raised in Washington State, she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Washington State University. Upon graduation she worked as a Lead Analyst for the Spokane Police Department.
In 2004, she began MOSD LLC. In 2014 Dave was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multi-Forme . Ali closed her commercial space and spent as much time as possible caring for Dave and their two daughters until his passing in November of 2016. In 2017 Ali re-opened MOSD LLC, now branded as Wear Your Spirit Warehouse and has continued to grow the brand. In late 2022, Ali joined the Shirt Lab team as an equity partner with founders Tom Rauen and Marshall Atkinson.
Ali is a graduate of Leadership Southern Maryland, is a community business advisory member for Calvert County Public Schools Graphic Arts Program, Anne Arundel Public School Innovative Design Program. She is on the Editorial Board of Screen-Printing Magazine and a contributing author. She is the recipient of the 2020 Women In Screen Printing Award.
Ali is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Besides running the daily operations of Wear Your Spirit Warehouse, Ali mentors fellow business owners in the Apparel Decorators Business Sprint. Lastly, in her spare time, Ali volunteers as a Peer Mentor for T.A.P.S. (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) and races sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay with U.S. Patriot Sailing.
Ali continues to live in Huntingtown MD raising her two daughters, Kate (21) and Caroline (19). Kate is a psychology student at Albright College in PA. Upon graduation she wants to attend graduate school and work in the field of child bereavement. Caroline is a freshman at George Washington University in Washington D.C. studying Chemistry and hopes to go into Forensic Science.
Richard Greaves

Richard Greaves is a revered figure in the screen printing industry, celebrated for his expertise, innovation, and dedication to advancing the craft since 1979. His impactful career has spanned consulting, writing, speaking, and teaching, leaving an indelible mark on screen printing globally. In 2000, his contributions earned him induction into the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies (ASDPT).
Richard’s journey began at Eder Manufacturing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he mastered the art of screen printing under Susan Venell’s mentorship. Over the years, he has built one of the most extensive archives of screen printing magazines, articles, and books, offering an unparalleled resource to the industry.
His career highlights include co-founding the American Institute of Screen Printing in North Carolina and partnering with Jeffrey Gitomer to establish Shadow Graphics, a company known for pioneering four-color process printing and innovative techniques like sleeve printing. Richard’s collaboration with Mark A. Coudray and Don Newman further propelled his technical expertise, particularly with Newman Roller Frames, which revolutionized high-tension screen printing.
Richard began his consulting career in 1987, working with screen printers worldwide to enhance production, develop training programs, and improve technical systems. He later served as Director of Lawson Screen Products’ Supply Division and joined Ulano Corp. as Technical Product Manager, where his influence continued to shape industry standards.
Richard, a prolific speaker and educator, has presented at major events like the SGIA Conventions, Imprinted Sportswear Shows, and international seminars across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He is known for his engaging workshops on topics ranging from screen printing troubleshooting to computer integration in design.
Richard’s writing has equally impacted the industry. He was a columnist for ScreenPrinting magazine, receiving multiple “Best Industry Columnist” awards from The Press Magazine. His technical expertise graced publications like Printwear, Impressions, and Images. His seminal work on screen printing variables became a key resource, published in Printwear Magazine in 1995 and 1996.
Despite experiencing a stroke in 2009, Richard continues to inspire the industry. He travels to share his knowledge and consult on screen printing challenges. His most recent engagements include seminars in India (2017) and Bangladesh (2020). He is a frequent contributor to Shirt Lab and has conducted workshops and live speaking engagements.
Throughout his career, Richard has been celebrated for his technical innovation, dedication to education, and passion for helping printers succeed. His legacy as a mentor, consultant, and thought leader remains unmatched in the screen printing world.
